I forgot to mention that my last day during the Fall Term at Caltech, a few of us Averyites went to this place called A Float Sushi. They actually had real Ramen so I ordered it! The noodles weren’t as curly, and overall the ramen was good (despite the lack of paper-looking fish). The Korean kimchi ramen I have at home is pretty darned good so I was actually slightly dissappointed at the version of real Ramen I had. I suspect that the real-real Ramen in Little Tokyo (part of LA) will be much better.
