Ah, today was cool. Euge, Steve, Dave, and I went to visit our high school again. This was my first time back so it was nice seeing all of the teachers again. Some teachers were enthusiatic about us visiting; others were not as thrilled (at least they didn’t seem so when all they (in the singular sense) said was “hi” and “give some words of wisdom for college”) Ms. D was especially enthusiastic. She sat down and talked to us for about an hour! Mr. E was as usual running around the county. Mrs. W had that sad look on her face (obviously!). Other teachers were mostly the same.

I’m kind of glad that the Science Club is still running although the club is only meeting every 2-3 weeks (come on, we met almost every week last year), but the shocker was that the attendance bloomed to about 50 students per meeting! That’s amazing! Last year, even when we presented what I thought to be immensely interesting topics, only about 4-5 kids showed up and 2 of them were Dave and Steve. Hm, I wish I could present a lecture this year, but I’ll be leaving for college again before the high school starts classes again. I suggested doing a 3-4 hour nonstop lecture after school today (before Christmas break), but I suspect that attendance wouldn’t be all that great. I wouldn’t imagine why…
