Thanks for the advice. I might have just watched the Adult Swim version and then I would have never known that it’s supposed to be better.

Maybe you can request that they remove your internet connection for a few of the hours that you’re locked in the dorms so you can do homework.

Noooooooooooo! Well, yes, of course, I recommend Naruto! But no, don’t watch it on Adult Swim. I heard that the anime was being butchered in many places with the most serious one being the language. There are certain things in Japanese (sound, expressions, phrases, etc.) that cannot be replaced or mimiced by English. For instance, Naruto’s phrase: “Kage Bushin no Jutsu!” which roughly translates into “Mass Shadow Duplication” is rumored to be “Doppelganger technique!” in the Adult Swim version. Naruto in English is going to be a horrible little kid’s show. Watch the original Japanese version with English subtitles (you can obtain this online). You’ll definitely enjoy it.

Hm, fast internet’s going to be awesome, but my sister thinks that it’ll be a bane for me since it’ll cause my grades and stuff to drop… ^^;;;.

Yes, thank you, Mike. I might just have to take advantage of your Friends Benefits Program ™ sometime soon. It’s funny that you mention that anime. I’ve seen previews for it on Adult Swim lately. Do you recommend it?

Have a nice time at college with your fast internet. It’s almost frightening thinking about what you’ll be able to do with it.

Thanks, Mike, your messages are always very personalized. I’ll probably take advantage of your special edition Friends Benefit Program once I get the time to work on my website/blog some more. I do plan to start writing soon. If I’m free tonight I might work on it, now that I am pretty sure about my classes for the semester. You can expect some fascinating stories and dorm photographs, I guess. Heh, and I’ll try to pick up some intelligent literature conversation from my English classes when I get to them.
