Alright! The reason why this is posted “late” is because I didn’t count the Yellowstone trip as part of your “leaving for college.” “Sure Mike,” you may say, “that’s a pretty good excuse for writing this post late.” To that, I reply: “Thank you.”
Well, either way, this is a bit late. So yeah, that’s that. Well, let’s see what I can write for you. I’m not in my writing mode these days, admittingly, so this may turn out to be really crappy.
Anno, as a friend, I also extend the right to communicate with me
(I’m trying to talk big here), and I will offer any help I can.
So, thanks for teaching me a bunch of stuff throughout high school and for keeping me on my wit. In those days, our conversations were awesome and fun although I must admit that it was a huge time sucker and trained me in the art of “Steve Mann”—mainly, how to finish homework in homeroom and how to pass tests on five minute study sessions. Nevertheless, I enjoyed your influence. Even today, I still catch myself doing something and then thinking to myself: “Hey, that’s an Allison-like behavior.”
Our science/math talks/chats were great! Every time I try to explain something or think I know enough about some topic, you ask confounding questions that causes me to spend hours trying to find answers (and learning more along the way).
This leads me to another point: When ever I end up talking to you, our conversations drag on to hours! Admittingly, this is one of the reasons why I stopped going on AIM a lot and a minor reason why I try not to talk to you too much ^^;;. Note: Yeah, I kind of say the above in a joking manner. This is a good thing that we can talk for so long.
Okay, I’m forgetting what I was meaning to say so I’ll try to end it now. It’s been a pleasure knowing you throughout high school (and a bit of middle school too). Thanks for all the fish and all of the book recommendations. I wish you the best of luck at MIT, the impostor institute of technology since we all know that there is only ONE ring, er, institute of technology: Caltech ;).
