When the weather is bad, my dial up to the internet goes down. What do you know? These past days (including today) have been bleak and rainy which, I surmise, causes a higher amount of interference in my old phone lines. The interference keeps the modem from negotiating a successful connection. I may not be online for the next few days if the weather keeps up. Yes, I know. Dial-up. I’m still one of the unlucky few who still use it.

Just…*counts fingers*…6-8 months until you have full access to a T3 connection!!
I say 6-8 because I’m not sure what you’re going to be doing this summer. Have you found any good summer programs for graduating seniors? I’m thinking of contacting a professor at whatever college I decide to go to and working there over the summer…either that or another NSWCCD stint (not too fun, but it pays).
Where do you guys find out about these summer programs?
Oh, and condolences on the dialup.
Just try searching for ‘high school summer programs’ on google. Spend another hour or two sifting through sites and you’ll find some cool programs!
Condolences accepted.
The best summer programs are either free or profitable, with admittance based on merit. I hate summer programs that you have to pay for. SEAP, SHARP, HSSSRP, Governor’s School, RSI, etc. are the best ones I know of, but there are many others.
Anyway mike, what are you doing this summer?
If I have any say in it, he’s having me down to visit, so I can meet all you crazy Philadelphian kids and have *my* accent made fun of for a change! =P
I think my summer will be awesome. 2 weeks in Europe, 6 weeks with Heather… oh yeah. kickass.
heck, I’ll only be in town for 2-3 weeks after graduation, then adios amigos!
