At SHARP, I led a team of nine NASA SHARP students collaborating from the Marshall Space Flight Center and Georgia Institute of Technology in a Mars research project (JPA) that was awarded first place out of thirty-nine teams across the nation by the Center for Educational Technologies.

I attended Georgia Tech for the summer of 2003 to take part in a national research program called SHARP sponsored by NASA. I worked in the field of Photonics (part of Electrical Engineering) under Omid Momtahan and under the supervision of Dr. Ali Adibi researching the area of Holographic Data Storage.
